What an Emotion is
The word emotion comes from the Latin word emovere, in which "e" means “out” and "movere" means “move” My interpretation of that is that emotions are synonyms for express, you express your emotions or feelings, through your actions and facial expressions toward others. Emotions are the way you are feeling and how you let other people know how you are feeling.
Negative emotions
Everyone has them. There's no way around it. But are negative emotions really that bad?
Not a bad thing
Negative emotions aren't (always) a bad thing.
Negative emotions are critical for mental and physical health. Guilt makes us better people.
First negativity
You have negative emotions all the time, even some that you may not realize. Negativity starts young.
The Purpose of Emotions
Emotions act to motivate us. When we feel emotionally we feel physically too. Emotions help us understand, determine something or make a decision. Our faces alone have 90 muscles, 30 of them are used of signaling how we feel to other people. Emotional signals are useful in the fact that they show others how we feel in a way words cannot.
