The blue whale is the largest animal alive but it was almost extinct in the 20th century.
The population os the specie is growing due to awareness that many organisations like the WWF are providing.

Platanista gangetica/ South Asian river dolphin
Endangered
This dolphin can live in rivers. It is not common for anyone to think that dolphins can live in rivers, as it is uncommon for people to think about its status in the red list.Suborder: odontoceti
Crittically endangered
A status that is made by the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) The species in are in extremely high risk of extinction. Meaning that most of the population has decreased. This is the highest category risk category for wild animals.

There are less than 100 vaquitas left in the wild. Despite the contiuing efforts like showing awareness many animals are in the verge of extinction.
