The Weekly Jr. Oiler
June 21, 2019
A Great Year!
This school year has had tons of learning experiences as well as fun social events. I am so proud of our teachers for the rigor they provide, our APA Jr. program for opening up doors into performing arts for our students, and our coaches for the champions they foster. We were so excited to introduce GRIT this year and see all the growth students made with Gratitude, Responsibility, Integrity, and Tenacity. We were so grateful to be named CA Distinguished School, Exemplary Arts School, Scholar Share $25,000 grant winner, and Social Emotional Learning Innovation Grant recipient. There are many other programs and events that are not named, however I am truly grateful for all of those too.
Good luck to all the 8th Graders. Thank you and we will see the rest of you in the fall!
