ISAAC Middle School Ranks 3rd in Southeastern Connecticut !
New London, CT - In a recent release of the Connecticut State Department of Education's accountability index, ISAAC Middle School emerges as a shining star, securing the 3rd position out of 12 Middle Schools in southeastern Connecticut. This remarkable achievement reflects the unwavering dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, parents, and community members.
The accountability index is a comprehensive evaluation encompassing various areas, each contributing to the overall performance of the school. ISAAC excelled in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, as assessed through the SBAC exams administered in the spring. Additionally, factors such as chronic absenteeism percentage, participation and performance, ELL (English Language Learners) support, graduation rates, and post-secondary entrance played pivotal roles in determining the school's ranking.
This success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our entire school community. Congratulations to our outstanding teachers, diligent students, supportive parents, and engaged community members. Together, we prove that when it comes to education, Effort Creates Ability, and All Students Can Succeed.
Let's celebrate this remarkable achievement and continue fostering an environment where excellence is not just encouraged but expected.
ISAAC: Inspiring Success, Achieving Excellence.
