Summer Inservice Opportunities

You should have Spreadsheet - Summer 2013 with Courses

The courses listed on the handout "Summer 2013" and the trainings found on this list are the only approved trainings. Please email Mr. Chappell if your training is not found on either list for approval

Summer Staff Development Plan - Must be filled out and submitted to Mr. Chappell

Go to Eduphoria from the SISD homepage. Click on Formspace. In the bottom left hand corner, click on Submit New Form. Click on Staff Development. Click on Summer Staff Development Plan. Fill out the form with the training days you are planning on attending.

End of Year Training

Please come during your conference period on May 14th. We will meet in the DLL. We will go over End of Year Grades and how to back up your computer for re-imaging your computer. If you are not going to be here that day, please make arrangements with Jill to have your computer re-imaged. If your computer is already re-imaged, you will need the End of Year info.

JH MPR or HS Choir Room

You must register on Region 17 site. There are two different trainings for core teachers depending on your subject matter. Mr. Chappell suggests you attend .

TEKS Verbs and Performance Indicators

Monday, Aug 12th, 8am-3:30pm


Use the TEKS verbs to create strong lessons with final projects worth sharing. Register on Eduphoria
Mr. Chappell said that this will be a good in service for elective teachers if you are looking for something you can use in the classroom.

Learn an application on your own with Atomic Learning. You may watch 3 hours of an online tutorial, and turn in a lesson plan using what you have learned. Please email Terry Wickson to set up your training.
