Outdoor Recess...
It's that time of year again...please remember to send your child prepared to go outside for recess.
Students go outside during the winter as long as the wind chill does not go below 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please contact the school if you need assistance with acquiring appropriate cold weather gear for your child. We may be able to assist with limited funds donated to the school by the Metamora Lioness Club. Many thanks for their generosity.

Title I schools are required to put 1% of Title I funding towards family engagement. Parents input is required regarding the use of this money. According to ESSA, family engagement programs “shall be planned and implemented with meaningful consultation with parents of participating children”. Lapeer Title I elementary schools present information about this set-aside money with families during their annual Title I meeting held at open house in the fall.
