Dear IMS Parents and Students,

The month of January went by in a flash! Students in all grades were actively working on units, as sixth grade explored weathering and erosion, seventh grade learned about the cycles of matter and eighth grade "digested" a few new systems of the human body.

Fifth grade also participated in science during January, blasting off into a solar system unit!

Each group participated in lab activities to explore the units. Check out some of the passages below for additional information about the curriculum.
