Principal's Message

Greetings Carver MS,

I am thinking of everyone in our school community and it is my hope that everyone remains safe and healthy. We have updated our access to assignments and have converted our assignments to the Cougar Den, our new online learning lab. Please use this site to access assignments and enrichment activities during our second week of remote learning. Please reach out to me if you have issues with access the site. The office will be open from 8 am-1 pm, Tuesday, 3-24-2020 to allow parents the opportunity to pick up paper copies of assignments.

Our teachers will begin to maintain office hours beginning tomorrow. Teachers will be available for at least a three hour window to respond to email, communicate through Canvas and respond to questions about assignments. Most of our instructors have office hours from 9 am-12 noon. Teachers with extended or alternate hours will communicate their availability to parents electronically.

Breakfast and lunch meals for the Carver community will now be distributed at Harrowgate Elementary School. All students age 18 and younger may receive meals. Adults must be accompanied by students when picking up meals.

We have several very important links below, particularly to support our students with reading while they are out of school. Please continue to encourage our students to read while we are out on our extended leave.

Thank you and I hope to see everyone soon!

This organization will be comprised of dads, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, and any other male role models in the lives of our students. We want our WATCH D.O.G.S. to volunteer their time in our school to better enhance the learning experience for all of our students, teachers, and staff.
