■ 10 day stay at home/remote learning **OR**
■ A medical doctor’s note (written documentation) stating the diagnosis to explain the symptoms (that is not COVID-19). Chiropractor notes will NOT be accepted. **OR**

After School Virtual Fall Fun Clubs!
Does your child want to make friends and have more interaction with other Husmann students while sharing about something in their lives that they love? Starting this week on Thursday, several virtual clubs will be starting up for various interests. They are: Outdoor Club, Marathon Running Club, Pet Club and International Club. Here is a brief description of each of these clubs:
Outdoor Club: Bring your device as close to outside as your internet will reach, or bring it outdoors and share with members what activities you do in your yard space-with your swing set, trampoline, trees, yard, and see what others do. Planned for 4 half hour sessions per grade level.
Marathon Running Club: This club is designed for 3rd - 5th graders. Members will meet virtually weekly for 8 weeks for sharing running experiences and learning running techniques. Runners will run/walk/jog on their own, set goals, track their progress and earn small tokens and certificates for milestones made. Parental involvement is necessary for supervision and highly encouraged for tracking with a Marathon Kids running app, for which directions will be forthcoming.
Pet Club: Share about your different wonderful experiences and responsibilities with your pet. Bring your pet to the computer, or, if a cat, bring your computer to the cat, so we can love your pet, too! No pet is necessary because if you love animals, you may love seeing Husmann pets! Planned for 4 half hour sessions per grade level.
International Club: Specifically organized for students who speak more than one language in their homes to share about cultural experiences such as language, foods and holidays. Planned for 4 half hour sessions.
A Google form for each club is linked to this email to sign up. The zoom link for all virtual club meetings is the same as the zoom link for your child’s P.E. class: https://d47.zoom.us/j/97591011939?pwd=WjV0MzZtOExjd1BWQ2EvTDZKNVg2Zz09
Hope this will help your children feel better in these unusual times and draw you into feeling a bigger part of our united Husmann community.

The Morning Announcements
The Morning Announcements are here to stay! We are hoping to secure various staff members from across the district as well as Husmann staff. Our goal is to give our Cougars something to look forward to, as well as possibly get to know a staff member a little bit better and finally to think about being safe, respectful and responsible! We will continue to celebrate the National Days. Please keep sharing your photos with us at Husschool@d47.org and on social media with the hashtag #forward47 & #HUSpride as well!
