A Note From the Teacher...

Our August and September birthdays are pictured above. Happy Birthday to all of these students! I hope this is the BEST year yet!

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend. I enjoyed going to the Choctaw Festival in Tuskahoma with my sister, brother-in-law, and his family.

For those of you that missed the Parent Academic Night last Wednesday, please note that you can find the PowerPoint presentations on our class webpage under "parent information". If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. Also, a quick reminder, if you haven't filled out the Parent Brag Sheet yet, please go to our class website or to the link at the bottom of this newsletter. It will take you to a Google Form, and when you are finished filling it out, it will come directly to me! I appreciate you taking the time to fill it out. I look forward to reading each one!

Sign-Up Genius will go live on Monday, September 14th at 7:00 PM for all third grade classes. This is where you can sign up for classroom volunteer opportunities. For the field trips, all third grade teachers will be drawing names from the list of parents that sign up for a field trip this year. We can only allow two parents for each trip, so we want to make it as fair as possible. If your name is on the list, you will be entered into the drawing. There will be 20 slots (one for each family), so please be aware of that when you are signing up. I will update the Sign-Up genius field trip pages once the final names are drawn!
