Mr. Posick's Wednesday email

October 21, 2015

It was a short week..

It may have only been a three day week, but the students and staff maintained a great learning environment all week long. We had research in Science, gallery walks in Social Studies, reading and writing in LA and study halls, playing and singing in music classes, creativity in art, and activity in PE classes. If you are ever wondering what we're doing, check out our Twitter or Facebook activity. You can find the links at the bottom of this smore.

Red Ribbon Week

Next week is Red Ribbon Week. This is an opportunity to highlight the importance of drug awareness and encourage students to live a healthy life and stay drug free. As part of the celebration, next week Student Senate will have the following Spirit Days: Monday – Wear Red, Tuesday – Put a cap on drugs (crazy hats or hair), Wednesday - Sock It to Drugs (Crazy Sock Day), Thursday – Put drugs to sleep (wear pajamas), and Friday – Scare away drugs (wear black and orange). Please encourage your child to dress for the day as prizes will be awarded at the end of the week for participants.
