Hello friends and family!
As many of you know, at the beginning of July, I will be leaving to spend 13 months at Amigos de Jesús orphanage in Honduras. I also just so happen to be graduating from college next week. So, I am having a party to celebrate! I would love to see you all one last time before I leave for the year.
Please join me at Blue Mound State Park on Sunday, June 14th from 2-6pm. The party will be open-house style, so just stop in when you can! Food and drinks will be available.
To help us plan for food and such, please RSVP by June 5th to email@example.com with the number of people that plan on attending.
No gifts are expected, so no need to bring gifts. However, as part of the Amigos de Jesús program, I need to fundraise for my travel and living expenses. If you feel inclined, any donations received will be put toward my fundraising goal to make my work at the orphanage possible. Any support – moral or monetary – is greatly appreciated!
I hope to see you all then!!!
ABOUT AMIGOS DE JESÚS
Amigos de Jesús orphanage is home to over 120 children who come from situations of violence and abandonment across Honduras. Located on a 200 acre farm, the orphanage provides schooling, food, clothing, shelter, and most importantly, family, to the children who live there.
During my time at the orphanage, I will help teach school during the day and take care of the kids at night. The work that Amigos does totally amazes me and I could not be more excited to become a part of it!
Also, below are a few videos to give you a better idea of what Amigos de Jesús does. The first video is actually a brief history of Amigos de Jesús (not just a person singing!).
