Movie Maker Tip
If you have students working on Movie Maker please take a minute to view this presentation.
Augmented Reality- Chromeville
Chromeville is a free app for Android or IOS. It brings a coloring sheet to life. You go to the site: chromeville.com and print the coloring page.
Teachers can use this to practice writing and story telling. The site suggests this for grades K-1, but it is fun for everyone. Try it out!
Google Keep
Do you use Post it notes on your computer? Then you will love Google Keep. Google Keep allows you to make a list, keep notes, and keep pictures. It will sync with your computer, tablet and phone. This way you always have your list or notes with you. You can even set reminders with location so that when you walk into school the list you need for the day will pop up.
Classroom of the Week:
Mr. Stote Reeder's Geometry classes
The students are discovering the relationships of congruent transformations using Geometers Sketchpad. They are also using Paint to create M.C. Escher inspired tesselations. Students will eventually create a portfolio of congruent transformations that includes an instructional screencast lesson.
