Sunshine Committee
Sunshine Committee dues are due! The yearly fee is $25 for professionals, $15 for paraprofessionals. 100% of the proceeds are used to make people happy :-) Who wouldn't want to donate to such a worthwhile group?
Our sunshine committee dues go towards:
- Staff members with sick family members
- staff members who lose a family member
- celebrations like retirements and graduations
- organizing monthly luncheons
- organizing the Staff Christmas party
I think it is important for us to recognize big events in our fellow staff members lives and let them know how much we care so I encourage our entire staff to be a part of the Sunshine Crew.

Stating Classroom Objectives
"Today, we will create -ing words."
"Today, we will:
*create -ing words
*use counters to add two digit numbers
*build structures that withstand forces such as wind
*talk to a community helper"
For those of you with LEP students - either ESL or parent denials - please also state your ELPS objective such as: "Today we will speak to the class about one community helper."
Project Lead the Way - Launch
Student led learning is the kind of learning that will help push your TTESS evaluations past the "proficient" level in several dimensions. Whether you plan to teach at a STEM school or just want to learn how to add more student led, project based learning to your classroom, this training will be beneficial.
