Campus Closed to Visitors for STAAR Testing - April 9-13
4th and 5th grade students will be taking the STAAR test during the week of April 9-13. Due to the importance of maintaining a secure testing environment, we will be closed to visitors for this whole week. We appreciate your understanding and support in creating the best possible atmosphere for our students. Thank you!

AISD School Safety Survey
Parent/Guardian:
On April 20th (5th grade) and April 24th (6th grade), Rountree Elementary School will be conducting the AISD School Safety Survey during Science (5th grade) and ELA (6th grade) classes. This anonymous survey contains questions relating to bullying, campus safety, and internet safety. If you DO NOT wish for your child to participate, please compete the attached form and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Thursday, April 19th.

The Allen ISD Character Trait for April is Attitude. Please encourage your students to have a positive attitude with some of these tips.

Help with Clothing Needed
Allen ISD Hosts Medication Disposal Day - Saturday, April 28
Allen ISD's Lowery Freshman Center and City Hall will host Medication Disposal Day on Saturday, April 28 from 10 AM until 2 PM.
The event is designed to allow families to safely dispose of old and unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. Used and expired needles, lancets and epi-pens also will be accepted at the drive-through event.
Lowery Freshman Center is at 601 E. Main St. in Allen. Allen City Hall is located at 305 Century Parkway. The event is sponsored by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, The Allen Police Department, and Allen ISD.
