Feel free to use any of the ideas or resources in these newsletters as you prepare your computer science lessons that will be shared at the end of the Computer Science: Building a Foundation for Student-Choice course on February 7, 2018.

The Weld RE-4 Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant toward furthering the development of K-12 curriculum in the computer sciences. So get ready for amazing changes to happen in classrooms.

Did you know that there is an incredible resource for you to use while planning a computer science lesson for your students. Shoutouts
A big thank you to Cinda Orr, Sarah Warren, and Heather Moon for hosting the Student Centered Design Thinking Playgrounds in September and October. Participants had hands-on opportunities playing, creating and designing with Lego WeDo's, using Spheros in content areas, starting school radio stations with RadioBoss, and designing a robot with Arduinos.
