Apple TV Tips

Your iPad and Apple TV together are powerful teaching tools in the classroom.
If you are using your iPad to teach, make sure to check the following settings.




Auto-Lock
Prevents your iPad from going to sleep to quickly if not touched.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Display & Brightness.
3. Tap Auto-Lock.
4. Tap to choose a time length.
NOTE: If you select Never, you will have to manually put your iPad to sleep or the battery will run down.


AssistiveTouch
Use this powerful tool as an on-screen pointer.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Accessibility.
4. Tap AssistiveTouch.
5. Toggle the AssistiveTouch option to ON.


AirPlay
Setting that allows people to send you files via the bluetooth connection to your device.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap AirDrop.
4. Tap a setting to select:
- Receiving Off - No one can send to you via AirDrop.
- Contacts Only - Only Contacts listed in your Contacts app can send.
- Everyone - Use With Caution! Anyone can attempt to send you anything via AirDrop.
