In Touch with TG
September 29, 2022
Dear Toll Gate Families,
We are one month into school and here at Toll Gate you can feel the energy of students, teachers and staff. There are so many wonderful things to share and we look forward to seeing parents/caregivers tonight at our Back to School Night.
For over half the school community, this will be your first in-person Back to School Night and I am overjoyed with having you back in the building. I will say it again tonight, but please try to take one thing that you learn tonight back to your child. Celebrate your child and their successes here at school, tell them how proud you are of them and let them know you love them.
I look forward to seeing you tonight.
Best,
Jane-Ellen

We are hosting an after school district wide event for elementary students on October 11th from 4:30-5:30 pm in the Community Room at Central High School.
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights and will be celebrated on October 24th this year. The district will provide elementary school aged students with an opportunity to learn more about Diwali and to create a craft that is related to the celebration. If you are interested in having your child participate, please sign up HERE. Space is limited so please sign up early. All supplies for the craft will be provided by the district.

Student Absences | Call TelSafe
We also ask that parents leave reasons for absences on that line. You can call ahead if you know about a planned absence or lateness. An email to a teacher may not be seen if the teacher is absent that day.
Our attendance policy does require us to track both excused and unexcused student absences.
Principal Read Aloud This Week
Celebrate the power of love and friendship in this beautiful book that features vibrant artwork, die-cut pages, and the inspiring message that when we work together, we can affect change.
Each of us is wonderful and special on our own. But when we team up with friends, family, and even those whom we don’t know, we can make amazing things happen. This inspiring book, which features vibrant artwork and die-cut pages, takes readers on a journey to understand that while we are able to accomplish much on our own, we will achieve even more, and be able to affect real change, when we join with others.
