Will County Reading Council
January 2016
Note from the President
I truly hope that all of you have enjoyed your holiday break. Hopefully it was a great time to decompress and find renewed energy to finish this school year strong.
As we all are returning to our busy school lives don't forget about the great things that the Will County Reading Council is doing. We really would like to have more of you join us at some of our fantastic events.
Wishing all of you a great and successful second semester. Come join us at any time if you need to fee rejuvenated.
Stories with Santa
WCRC partnered with the Joliet Public Library for our Santa Reads program. We gave out books to over 450 children over the course of two days. The program is offered on two different days, one at night and one during the day, to help accommodate working parents. There was a fun time had by all.
