How emotion portrays in dance!

Connections
Music can be thought of as a type of perceptual illusion, much the same way in which a collage is perceived. The brain imposes structure and order on a sequence of sounds that, in effect, creates an entirely new system of meaning. The appreciation of music is tied to the ability to process its underlying structure. The ability to predict what will occur next in the song. But this structure has to involve some level of the unexpected, or it becomes emotionally devoid.
Research
Needed from a person to show emotion- An important thing to remember is that you are never dancing alone, even in a solo. You are to include your audience, don't forget they are there.
Is emotion as important- If movement has meaning then there isn’t a need to layer emotions. It’s mainly up to the choreographers and dancers to decide whether they should include emotion.Few choreographers try to separate the idea of emotion and the movement (names of those few) Merce Cunnigham, Ballenchine, Alwin Nikolais and Anthony Tudor. They believed that the movement is supposed to tell a story and the emotion is mainly there to Provoke that emotion to the audience.
