6th Grade Field Trip to Vermeer

Last week the 6th graders got to enjoy a fun and exciting field trip to Vermeer for Manufacturing Days. During this field trip, we got to learn about many different technologies that Vermeer uses to enhance job performance around the world. There were many hands-ons activities including: virtual excavation, 3D printing (fidget spinners), computer programming, and model building. They also learned about how segways are used for communication, how they use research to make products stronger, and how the use sifts to separate products. Here is link to our Photo Gallery.
