Inspiring Tomorrow's Innovators, Today!
November 8, 2020
Notes from our Director
Hello DATA community,
This week we will be honoring our veterans for their service. We want to thank all of our veterans on staff, our parents, grandparents, and community members. Thank you for your dedicated service and sacrifice.
We have just two weeks until Thanksgiving break. We encourage all of our students to continue to login and complete their work daily. It is important to ask for help and attend blended learning time if additional support is needed. We are also launching an "Art and Math Contest" with the theme of "Things you are thankful for." Please see the link below with additional details. All entries will be due by November 20 at 11:59pm. We look forward to seeing the many entries and creative work that our students will produce. Great prizes await the top 3 winners.
Parents who are interested in having their student/s return to campus for in-person instruction and learning are asked to complete the form below no later than 12 noon on Thursday, November 12. Here is the link to the Return to Campus Survey
Thank you for reviewing the many details included below and please continue to stay safe. If you have specific questions, please feel free to reach out.
Stay well,
Lori Murach

PSAT for 9th and 10th graders plus another chance for 11th graders
On January 26, 2021, there will be an opportunity for every 9th and 10th grader to take the PSAT on campus at 10am. This is a paper and pencil test, there is no online version currently. It is very important that all 9th and 10th graders who are interested in taking the PSAT be sure to sign up on the Google Form from November 1-13, 2020. This is a "real numbers" order so that means we will only order enough tests based on who signed up on the Google Form. The form will open at 8am on November 1 and close at 11:59pm on November 13. All 9th and 10th graders must use this form: https://forms.gle/MuTMxYqcrAumKc7G6.
In addition, any 11th grader who did not take the PSAT on October 29, can make it up on this date as well. Please do not sign up if you took it on October 29, we will have to remove anyone from the order who took it already this school year. The 11th graders wishing to make up the test will also need to make sure they sign up between November 1st-November 13th so we can order enough materials. The form will open from 8am November 1st and close at 11:59pm on Nov. 13th. They will need to sign up on this form: https://forms.gle/GY2RdA1Sf8cgWuFT8
Please remember to use your grade level that is listed in Skyward for reference. You must be logged into the student's NEISD/school account to sign up, not a private email such as Gmail or Yahoo. You can only fill out the form once. If there was a mistake on your form, please email ktaylo3@neisd.net.

Here is a link to the Community Service Form that you can submit to Ms. Tiller to keep track of your hours. Be sure to keep filling up the page before submitting.
