Student Appointments outside of School
If your student is late to school due to an appointment, we ask that the parent/guardian comes into the office with the student. It is also recommended that the student get a pass from the office that they visited for missing school as that will be part of the late slip excuse.
Noon Supervisor Opening
We have 1 opening for a Noon Supervisor!! Come join our team to help support student success during lunch. The position is 5 days a week for a total of 7.5 hours. If you are unable to commit to 5 days, please consider signing up as a Sub Supervisor. Inquire in our elementary office.
Noon Supervisor Hours
Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 11:20-12:50
Wed 11-12:30
Homelink Parent Portal
HomeLink Parent Portal is available for all MDUSD students and legal guardians. This is a secure and private online resource that will provide access to your student's attendance, state test score reports (CAASP, ELPAC) and allow you to update demographic information. Gregory Gardens is rolling out the use of this system for our students.
We are re-sending the letter home that has your student's info and verification code this week. Please look for it in their backpack When you receive your letter, we strongly encourage you to set up your parent/guardian portal for your student (s) as this is how you will now need to update the demographic sheet for Gator Day in August.
Here is the link to the parent portal:
Elementary Student Lunch Accounts
Students attending GGES are all given a lunch card with their name and student ID whether they ever buy lunch or not. Each student has access to these cards at meal service to pick up and use at their will.
Payment for student meal accounts can be made in cash or check. If writing a check, please make your check payable to “MDUSD Cafeteria Fund”. Our front office has envelopes just for this and they will get your cash or check payment to the cafeteria. If you wish to pay by credit card, please use the district Titan service to pay onto your student's account https://www.mdusd.org/foodservices
If you receive a bill or call regarding money due, please contact food & nutrition services at https://www.mdusd.org/foodservicescontactus.

Robert Shearer Preschool
What's Happening around Preschool
All students must be picked up on time. Late pickups cause assistants to be away from their classrooms and teachers to miss important meetings. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Please note that drop off and pick up should not happen in front of the Robert Shearer preschool building. All guardians are asked to park and walk to the preschool to get your student. If you need to come into the preschool for any reason, make sure you sign in at the office and have an adult escort you to class. Thank you so much for helping us keep everyone safe!
