Race for Education Reaches $50,000 Goal!
Thank you to all the donors, volunteers, parents, students, teachers, sponsors and supporters for helping Christ the King School Raise over $50,000! Funds raised will go directly toward technology for our students and teachers and playground upgrades.

Guardian Angel Pinning Mass
“Angels walk beside me, holding tightly to my hand. They’re all above me, beneath me, before me, they’re all around me. My Father’s angels all protect me everywhere.” Second graders received special pins and prayer cards from their 8th grade Guardian Angels today at the Guardian Angel All School Mass. They will continue praying for each other all year long.
Native American "STREAM" Project
Fifth graders have been busy building! They were given the assignment to research different groups of Native Americans and build a house. They tied in several subjects for this fun project, including :
- Social Studies - Learned about how the different Native American groups lived
- Science - Used the scientific method and design process to build home
- Technology - Google Slide Presentation on group of Native Americans
- Reading - Read “The Sign of the Beaver”
- Engineering - Built a prototype and then the actual home
- Art - Created Native American Totem Poles
- Math - Measured homes when finished
- PE - Play lacrosse (a popular Native American game)
Pre-K Dress-Up in Vestments
Mrs. Martine's (PKC) mother-in-law made tiny-sized vestments for pre-k students to help them learn about the special seasons of the church calendar. A special thank you Mrs. Norma Martine for this special gift!
Fourth Graders Build Covered Wagons
Fourth grade students were challenged to construct a covered wagon. The wagon had to be able to move and bear weight for supplies needed for the trail and have realistic features of a wagon during the time period. In addition, each group was assigned a state that covered wagons traveled through on their journey westward. They had to label major cities, forts, outlined trail and even added descriptions of landmarks and animals.
Bears Win the Catholic Cup!
Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade football team on their victory over the Wabbits (26-8), winning them the Catholic Cup!
Firecrackers Win in Overtime!
The Catholic Firecrackers defeated Pinnacle View in overtime with a score of 28-22!
Bears Receive Blessing Before Race
CTK alum, Fr. deOrbegozo, blessed the cross-country students before their meet last week.
Future Belles Night
Our Volleyball Bears represented Christ the King at "Future Belles Night" at Mount St. Mary Academy.
