Interchangable Parts

INVENTOR
Interchangable parts were created by Eli Whitney in 1798. These parts were made to have a spare part if something didn't work in a machine. This changed peoples lives becuase it was cheaper to have spare parts there rather than having to go out and buy expensive parts.
Interchangable Parts and the Industrial Revolution.
Since machines were becoming a big part of all manuifacturing, and was pretty much taking over the manufacturing in the U.S. Which helped tremendously with jobs and the economy. People who weren't as smart or skilled as some were able to have jobs working for the firearm industry.
