What Empires were there before Pachacuti had taken over?
The Empires before.
There were 7 empires before Pachacuti took over. The empires names were Chavins, Paracas, Nazca, Moche, Tiahuanaco,Huari,and Chimu. Before the Inca Empire took control of Peru and there were west coast of South America, there were other tribes and civilizations that formed throughout the history of the region.
The religions, cultures, and way of life.
All of their empires had their own religion, culture, and way of life. Here is an example of one of the empires, at the center of the Tiahuanaco civilization was a large city with an estimated population of 50,000 people. It was located high in the Andes Mountains at 12,000 feet above sea level. This city had a large temple complex with huge statues and a famous stone arch called the Gateway of the Sun. Plus they each had art work that represented there culture.

This is how they would eat breakfast back then. I don't which empire this is thought.
Farming
This is how most of the empires farmed around those empires. They farmed like because they lived near the equator and near the jungles.
Building differents.
They all had different ways of building there buildings depending on their religion. You see Paracas are known for their tombs, and the Huari developed terraced farming in the mountains and had a well-built road system. Plus the unique builds helped them in their own way to help them survive.
