PRAYER REQUESTS FOR THIS WEEK
- Families of the 50 shooting victims in Orlando and for our Country in general in the wake of the violence that is so commonplace now
.
- Debbie Torbit (co-worker of Sherry D) - has cancer and will be going to Cancer Institute of American in Newnan this week for testing
.
- Family of Carolyn Harris who passed away last week
.
- Dan Gibboney (co-worker of Karen) - may have prostrate cancer
.
- Hannah moves to GSU on Thursday - keep Momma and 'em in your prayers and Hannah as she begins a new journey in college
.
- Leo "Bubba" Mallard - vacationing in Yellowstone Park; continue to pray for him, Renee, and MacKenzie
.
- Mallory Sauls' car - has serious transmission problems; the Mariner lived a good life for over 100K miles; they need to determine how to get it back from Nashville and what to do next for transportation for Mallory
.
- Safe travels to the Castleberrys, Smiths, and Cooks this week in Alaska! And to the Dollars in Florida!
.
- Pray for Allison Scroggs to continue to be a good witness and deepen her walk with the Lord.
.
- Steve Williams (Johnny's B-I-L) - has had his last chemo treatment; was in ICU on ventilator but is off of it now and at home; looking for a place to take his physical therapy, etc.
.
- Joel, Lewissa, and Sutton Singleton - Sutton is has gained up to 5 lbs. 7 oz. and is doing well enough to head home from Athens Regional Medical Center this week
.
- Mallory & Drew on their upcoming wedding in June; and all the parents too!
.
- Karen - is back at work and off the scooter but her foot is still healing slowly
.
- Be praying about attending "The Main Event" (AKA Men's Conference) on July 22-23rd in Nashville TN. More details are given below in this Newsletter.
.
- Be praying about our class possibly opening up a "no cost" account at Newton Federal to be used as a "Flower Fund" for those occasions when we need to send flowers, a meal, or other expenses our class my incur. Pray about if we'd like to ask for a certain contribution per family per month to go into the fund.
.
- The Bowling Social has been moved to the fall so be thinking about a date.

UPCOMING SERVICE COMMITMENTS FOR OUR CLASS

SATURDAY JULY 23rd - SACK LUNCH SATURDAY
- Our class is responsible for fifty (50) complete Sack Lunches to be at the Kitchen in the Fellowship Hall before 11:00am on that Saturday
- A complete sack lunch includes the following: a drink, a sandwich, chips, fruit or dessert item
- We will need to get commitments for X number of lunches no later than the Sunday before this event
The Main Event, LifeWay's Men's Conference
It's not too late to make your plans to attend the upcoming Men's Conference on July 22-23rd in Nashville TN. Guest speakers are pretty awesome including Tim Tebow.

Scott has made reservations for the Sauls Family at the Hampton Inn in Brentwood TN.

Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like EHS has a number of new opponents including Woodward Academy, Oconee County, Loganville, Luella, Druid Hills (Homecoming Game), Salem, and North Clayton.

All home games are played at 7:30pm in Homer Sharp Stadium!
