School Counseling Department
Welcome back, LMHS families! Our counseling team looks forward to the start of what we hope will be a successful, happy and memorable school year for each and every one of our students. Two important notes:
Graduation Project Part A is due this Friday, August 30th. The project should be submitted via email to both the assigned mentor and school counselor. Senior Mentor Interviews will take place the morning of Friday, September 13th.
Scheduling: The add / drop period for scheduling is from September 3rd - September 6th. All requests will be considered but changes are not guaranteed. If there is room in the requested elective course, if the applicable pre-requisites are met, and if it the new course fits into the schedule without impacting other courses, it will be honored. We are unable to accommodate requests for changes in class periods, teacher assignments and / or AP courses. To be fair to all students, we consider requests in the order in which they are received, which is why we ask they they be sent via email. Any student with a significant scheduling concern, beyond a routine request to change an elective, should make an appointment to meet with their counselor.
