Bishop Kenny Social Studies Student Travel

About Our Program

Bishop Kenny's Social Studies Department has organized and led two previous student travel opportunities. In 2014, students traveled to Washington, DC for four days of exciting activities and learning opportunities, including tours of the Capitol building, Mount Vernon, the National Archives, the Air and Space Museum and other national landmarks. The following year, students journeyed to Historic Boston for a four day experience which included tours of major historic landmarks, Harvard College, the USS Constitution and trips to Lexington, Concord, Salem and Plymouth. (Read more about the previous DC trip here)

In addition to various learning activities, students also enjoyed diverse dining experiences, social outings, sightseeing, games and even an exciting night of bowling!

This program is open to all Bishop Kenny students in the Classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020.
