Hawk Happenings: April 25th

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

Message from the Principal

Greetings,

We have just over a week to go until the annual Gala. Sarah has been working hard on this (with several parents and staff), so when you see her, give her a hug! It is a critically important event for our annual budget. The goal is to raise $175,000! If you would like to help (or attend), please see the information below.

Have a great week!

Blessings,

Katie Dempsey

Principal

Father Wagner Update

Father Wagner is still in the hospital and in need of your prayers. Due to privacy concerns, the Archdiocese has asked us to no longer send out specific health updates. Should there be a significant change in Father's status, the Archdiocese will release a statement and then we are able to pass it on to you. Regardless, please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Volunteer Hours Due May 8th!!

Volunteer hours need to be complete, turned in or entered in RenWeb by the end of the day May 8th. This provides the opportunity to families to help with the gala and teacher appreciation day. After this time, unfulfilled volunteer hours will be charged to your account.

Gala News!

Holy Rosary Gala

Please join us at this year's Gala. We are offering discounted tickets to Holy Rosary School families. Dress in your fancy cocktail attire for a great evening out. Cost for one is $50 or $100 for a couple, and we are offering free childcare onsite to those that purchase Gala tickets. Ticket includes appetizers, cocktails, dinner, and dancing...not to mention our special guest speaker!

We are very excited that Bishop Eusebio Elizondo will be attending as the keynote speaker. Students will also be singing and dancing to entertain the crowd and showcase their bilingual skills. This is a very important fundraising event for our school with a financial goal of $175,000. The primary funds raised during the evening go to fund tuition assistance programs. We cannot provide scholarships without a successful evening!

If you are still looking for volunteer hours we also need you! We will need help with decorations, set-up, event assistance, and clean-up. Please see the online sign-up to volunteer: http://signup.com/go/nVvqxwZ and if you are wanting to secure childcare, please sign-up. Don't forget, unfulfilled volunteer hours will be billed out in May at $20 per hour!
