A bicameral Legislative means that it consists of two houses. The Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate, which together form the United States Congress.
How many people is the Legislative made up of?
The House of Representatives is made up of 435 elected members, divided among the 50 states in proportion to their total population. In addition, there are 6 non-voting members, representing the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and four other territories of the United States. The Senate is composed of 100 Senators, 2 for each state .
The role of the Legislative Branch.
The legislative branch has many powers one of them is creating laws and passing laws . On the picture You can see 5 men discussing on a topic.
If the president vetos a bill the Legislative branch can over rule a bill by a 3/4 vote from both houses. Then it would become a law. on the picture You can see the president vetoing the bill.
