We’ll be recognizing hundreds of students with awards at our first ever end-of-year awards ceremony on the morning of June 16.
While we were hoping to live stream the event for families, we’ve run into some technicalities and will instead record and post our event for families to view once completed. The video will be sent out through school messaging.

Free School Meals Will End June 2022
USDA Free Meal Program for All to Expire in June
Throughout the pandemic, The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) waived many of the program requirements, allowing schools to serve meals for free for all students 18 years old and under.
These waivers will expire as of June and beginning next school year, school meals will no longer be free to all students. Meals will continue to be free through the last day of this school year, June 16, 2022.
QUALIFYING FOR FREE MEALS NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
Your student can still qualify for free meals next school year 2022-2023 if your family household income falls below the amounts outlined in the Oregon Expanded Income Guidelines.
- Example, a family of four with a combined household income of less than $83,250 would qualify for free meals.
The free and reduced meal application will be available in July, please check the TTSD website ttsdschools.org to apply for free meals!
If you are in need of additional food resources, please see the attached PDF below for local resources available in the Tigard-Tualatin area for food, hot meals, and more. Tualatin
Summer cold? Skateboard fall? Need a sports physical or vaccine?
The district’s School-Based Health Center (SBHC) at Tualatin High School will close June 20 for summer break, but Neighborhood Health Center is still available to care for your student at one of our eight other locations in the Portland metro area.
SBHC patients can schedule appointments normally received at the SBHC at one of our medical, dental, or reproductive health clinics.
The closest medical clinic to Tualatin High School SBHC is NHC Canby Medical Clinic, a 20-minute drive from the SBHC.
View all NHC clinic locations on our website and see which location works best for you.
Additionally, unlike the SBHC, any family members in need — young or old — can be seen at other NHC clinics.
Don’t have insurance? No problem. All our clinics provide care regardless of insurance status or ability to pay, whether it’s your first time at the clinic or you’re a longtime patient.
To make an appointment at another clinic location or to become a patient, call (503) 848-8561.
Stay safe and healthy this summer,
Your SBHC Care Team
