Hello international students!

It's that time of the semester...yeah...some are trying to finish their projects, some are writing final papers, some others are fretting about exams...AND some others are graduating!!! Congrats to those who are graduating this May....yaaayy you made it!!


In this last issue we are going to share some exciting events that have happened on campus in the past few weeks, as well as other exciting events to come. We hope you have fun reading and hopefully attending future activities on or off campus!

CMU Surplus Sale

Friday, April 25th, 12-2pm

CMU Surplus Building located at 275 W. Bellows

If you want to get affordable furniture, CMU will sell surplus equipment, furniture and supplies to the general public. We suggest getting there early because usually many people like to attend this event.

CMU Women’s Chorus

Sunday, April 27th, 5-6pm

Music Building’s Staples Family Concert Hall

If you enjoy live music, this event is for you! This concert is free and open to the public Therefore, it will probably get full, so we suggest getting there early to find a seat.

“Taste of Culture” Series: Czech Republic

Monday, April 28th, 4-5pm

Ronan Hall 344

Do you want to know more about the Czech Republic? The Office of Study Abroad will host a “Taste of Culture” event. Students are invited to try Czech food while learning about what it’s like to study abroad in the Czech Republic. The event is free and open to the public.

University Theatre Dance Company Concert

Friday, April 25th, 7:30-9:30pm

Moore Hall, Bush Theatre

Enjoy a thrilling evening of dance as the University Theatre Dance Company performs a variety of styles including jazz, ballet, hip-hop, theatrical story dance, modern and more. This event wil also be open on April 26 from 7:30-9:30 pm and April 27 from 2:00-4:00 pm.

The advance purchase ticket price for students is $7 and $9 for general public

Tickets at the door are $10
