Reminder of the Possibility of Remote Learning

If the district, a school, a classroom, or program must temporarily change from in-person learning to remote learning, we’ll let impacted families know as soon as possible, ideally at least the night before. Schools would provide a remote learning schedule that largely follows the in-person schedule. One asynchronous (students working on assignments on their own, no zoom) day would be provided to allow staff to prepare for remote learning. This will also allow time for any students without technology to pick it up as well as distribute any medications back to families.

We are working hard to continue in-person learning until the current spike in cases declines, which may be in early February according to local health officials, but we wanted to proactively communicate the above plans in case we need them. Thank you for your continued flexibility and patience through this ongoing pandemic.

WEB - where everyone belongs

WEB activities are done each month during Eagles Landing in 6th Grade classes.

December's activity was called No Limits! Purpose: to look at the things that limit us to being bored with the same old thinking. We are going to start looking instead at how to go beyond some of those limits to create fun out of nothing.

January's activity is : Gossip Purpose: To talk about how easy rumors are to spread and how easy it is for them to destroy relationships.

STUDENT DROP OFF

A friendly reminder that your child should be ready to exit your vehicle once you are in the drop off lanes. Everyone is in a hurry to get on with their day. Having students ready will help get cars moving. Thanks for your cooperation.
