Dear Everitt Families:

Happy Friday, Everitt community!

It was another great week at Everitt! We're back in action! We had our first field trip in a year and a half. Mr. Snyder took our tenors and basses to the Jeffco Tenor/Bass Festival. They had a wonderful time!

Below you will see a photo of one of our new Mimeo TVs! We are so excited to use these TVs to enhance student learning and are so grateful to our PTA in their support in purchasing a few of the TVs.

It is almost time for Parent/Teacher Conferences! Conferences will be held in person on Tuesday, October 5th from 4:00-6:30 pm and virtually on Wednesday, October 6th from 4:00-6:30 pm. Please choose the format that works best for your family. You will receive an email on Monday from Sign Up Genius for our virtual conferences. If you'd prefer an in-person conference, you do not need to sign up for a virtual time. Simply come to Everitt between 4:00 and 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 5th. I will share more information next week about the in-person conference format. At Everitt, we encourage our students to attend conferences so that they are part of the conversation as we all team together to help them succeed and celebrate their successes so far. We look forward to seeing you in Google Meet or face to face!

Our October count window is opening next week. In Jeffco, we use what is called Student Based Budgeting (SBB). SBB allows us to decide together how to best use the funds that we have in our school. Our school funding is based on the number of students that we have at Everitt. That number is determined by attendance between September 24th and October 8th. Our official count day is October 1st. Please be sure to have your students here at school during that window and especially on October 1st.

Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!
