Enrollment is coming soon!

Enrollment is right around the corner! As you know, many of our classrooms have openings for new students. Did you know that the best advertisement for our school is word of mouth?

St. Patrick School is a unique community. Though we aren't without fault, we have something pretty special here. I have worked in many schools, none of which felt the way it feels to walk through these doors each morning. Your students aren't just numbers here. They aren't just data. They are part of a family, a group of people who are all looking out for them and rooting for their success. They are safe, they are loved, and they are encouraged to become the best version of themselves. We may not be perfect, but we enter this building each and every day determined to try.

I grew up in a small town with a HUGE family. You couldn't turn down a street where one of my aunts, uncles, or cousins didn't live. At school, I wasn't the greatest student, nor was I the most well behaved. I struggled academically, which often came out in being the class clown. But you know what, I LOVED school. Why? The people in that building cared about me. They knew me, they knew my family, and they wanted to see me succeed. They believed in me so much, I couldn't help but believe in myself.

For my entire career, I have searched for this same feeling. It never occurred to me until my first teaching job that not every school was like mine. Not every person in every school cared about every kid. Not every person in every school knew the names of every kid. Not every school was welcoming or kind. It blew my mind. I never dreamed it would be so hard to find what I had as a child...yet, it was!

And then, I found St. Patrick. Just walking through the doors on my first day, I could feel it. There's a warmth in these halls, a sense of belonging, a sense of compassion. Kids are smiling and laughing, working on projects and hands on activities. Teachers are encouraging and supporting, reminding when needed. The staff cares for the kids as if they were their own and the staff works together to help every single child grow.

Finally, I have found it. I've found what I loved as a child, I've found the place that every child deserves. St. Patrick isn't just a school, it's a family. We don't care about test scores and data, we care about kids. We want our kids to leave our school feeling like they have the tools needed to be successful in all areas of life. We want them to be compassionate and kind followers of Christ, who seek to help others and contribute to society. This is what every child deserves, yet few really get to experience.

I'm asking you to spread the word about what a great place St. Patrick is. Do you have friends or family members who are unhappy with school? Encourage them to give us a try. Schedule a shadow day or a tour. There's really no better way to let someone understand what we have to offer than having them walk through our doors.

This year, we will be providing a registration discount to any family who recommends a new family that registers with us. Spread the word!

AdvancEd Survey

As part of our accreditation process, we ask parents to fill out a survey each year. It is important that we have 100% of our parents complete this survey! Please complete your survey at the following link. Once you have done so, email me and I will send home a dress down pass with your child!

Catholic Schools Week Student Led Mass - Sunday, January 27 @ 11:00

I have several students participating in our mass on Sunday, January 27, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you!

Mrs. Davis, our amazing music teacher, is working on a song with all students in grades 3-8. We invite any student in these grades to join us to sing this song during mass. Please encourage your child to attend. We want to put on a good performance for our parishioners who give us constant support.

All students in attendance, wearing uniforms, will receive a dress down pass.

All students in attendance, wearing uniforms, who participate (reading, serving, or singing) will receive TWO dress down passes and an extra surprise. I'm hoping this will inspire more students to participate!

St. Patrick School

The mission of St. Patrick School is to develop young men and women with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical. Encouragement is given to students to bring their lives into conformity with God's will and plan, so that He is glorified.
