Final Weeks of School - Last Newsletter for 2022-2023 School Year
Hi everyone,
It is hard to believe that we are in our final few weeks of the 2022-2023 school year at the Clark Middle & High School. There is so much to be thankful for. Last week we watched our FCCLA students receive recognition for their accomplishments. Our Seniors had Baccalaureate at Plymouth Congregational Church on Wednesday and became official graduates of Clark High School on Saturday, May 13th. Our students have worked so hard and it was amazing to see all of the families, teachers, and many from our community come out and celebrate their accomplishments. I am very proud of our Seniors and all of their hard work and efforts towards graduation.
These next few weeks we will finish our HS MAP testing with a few make-up sessions for those who missed last week. MS MAP testing is complete. As you can see from the activity schedule below, golf and track have a number of upcoming events. Semester tests will be May 25th and 26th for our High School students. On Thursday, May 18th our 8th graders will have their "People of Purpose" project displayed for students, parents, and community members to come in and see. This will go from 2:00 - 3:00 in the gym. Everyone is welcome to come and walk through as it is a "wax museum" type concept, but with various presentation formats from our students. You will be able to vote in various categories. The last week of school our Middle School will have an Awards Ceremony at Noon. We are excited to recognize our students for all of their accomplishments this school year. Please stop on in and celebrate with us.
As we end the school year, I want to thank all stakeholders for their support of the Clark School District. We could not have done it without you. While we have definitely had some heartache this year and challenges, we are so much stronger together as a school and community when we come together for our kids and work towards a common purpose. Our kids have made great gains this school year and we look forward to seeing future growth. Now, let's finish these last few weeks strong. We've got this together.
Thanks,
Ms. Heggelund
