Transracial Adoption(also known as interracial adoption) refers to the act of placing a child of one racial or ethnic group with adoptive parents of another race or ethnic group.
Changing The Way People Think
Racial or Ethnicity shouldn't effect whether a child is adopted or not. Many children are adopted because many people believe its all about love. As long as a child is in a loving caring home, then nothing should matter.
Elizabeth
"Some say that transracial adoption is akin to cultural genocide, while others say that a child should be placed with a loving family, no matter race or ethnicity."
John
"Although there are advantages to the children in placing them with families who share their backgrounds, the first priority in placement decisions should be matching children with caring, accepting parents."
Priscilla
" i believe that it is more important to experience a loving childhood and belong somewhere than to have a same-race family."
