Message from the Principal
Dearest Molina Teachers and Staff,
As we enter the fourth week of school (already!), I wish to sincerely thank you for another successful start to the school year. It’s never easy to jump into a new school year at high school. There will always be master schedule changes, students adding and dropping classes, students in the wrong classes (or making up their own preferred schedules!), and teachers being moved from one classroom to another. Add to that 2 weeks of enrollment counts, 24 floating teachers, packed hallways, an overflowing counselors’ office, Labor Day (which really threw the 9th graders off), and then C day (9th grade minds blown!), and anyone from the outside would wonder how you all made it all look so easy! Thank you for exemplifying the education profession.
As we progress throughout the year, I ask you (as I did when we first returned) to take those calculated risks-put yourself out there, and let yourself be just a little bit vulnerable. Put those ideas that have gone through your minds into action. After all, no one has ever learned from doing things right! We may fall and make mistakes, but that is when we learn the most! This is what we ask of our students, so let’s lead by example. I know there is much more for you to read in this week’s edition of the Prowler, so I leave you with this quote from Abrose Bierce:
“We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road. They get run over.”
Take a chance! Impact your students’ world!
