Register Now to Attend February Required Advisor Trainings
All 4-H advisors, volunteers, and committee members must attend one of two trainings offered in February to be eligible to continue as a 4-H advisor, volunteer, or committee member in 2018. These training events help to kick off the 4-H year and will be held on Thursday February 8th from 7-9 pm and Saturday February 10th from 9-11 am. Both events will be held at the Fisher Auditorium on the OSU Wooster Campus. More details including a description of breakout sessions being offered can be found on page 4 of the January / February Link Newsletter.

Graduating Seniors and recent 4-H alums that are still in college - be sure to apply for 4-H scholarships. In addition to several Wayne County 4-H scholarships we have also compiled a growing list of State 4-H, Ohio State Fair, and other agricultural scholarships that are available to 4-H members and alumni.

Judging Team Opportunities
Correction to the LINK about the goat rule change.
Horns will be permitted for Boer Breeding Does. Market wethers, dairy, and pygmy goats will continue to be dehorned with not horns/scurs longer than 1/2".
We wanted to make you aware of this change as kidding season is right around the corner! Any other rule changes and/or additions will be announced at the Advisor trainings and the 2018 Project Guidelines.

The 2018 Wayne County 4-H Calendar of Events is now available on the Extension Office website. Feel free to download a copy and mark important dates on your personal calendar.
