Worlds 2022 knockout stage: results, schedule, bracket
The 2022 League of Legends World Championship group stage is over, and the knockout rounds await—just two weeks sit between now and when 메이저토토 a new world champion will be crowned.
The Western regions had their worst showing ever, going a combined 10-26 (EU 7-11, NA worst-ever 3-15), with an 0-9 first week for North American teams, and a 1-8 week two for the three European representatives. This year also 메이저토토사이트 marked the first time ever that fewer than two Western teams made it to the Worlds quarterfinals.
Given that every year, the only stipulation coming out of groups is that no two teams from the same group can land in the same half of the bracket, sometimes the quarterfinal draw can leave fans wanting.
Many consider it the best quarterfinal draw in years due to the relative lack of “civil war” matchups between two teams from the same region early on.
Additionally, the storylines are everywhere, not least of which is a matchup right out of the gates between T1 and Royal Never Give Up that should leave legacy fans salivating.
Here are the match scores, results, schedule, bracket, and more for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship knockout stage.

DRX made history at the League World Championship 안전놀이터 tonight when they advanced to the tournament’s grand final round, becoming the first team in the history of the event to ever reach the grand finals as a team that originated from play-ins.
DRX qualified for Worlds as the fourth seed out of Korea’s LCK. If it wasn’t for two five-game series victories in the LCK’s regional qualifier, DRX 메이저놀이터추천 would have missed the tournament completely. The team has faced elimination 안전놀이터추천 in three of the four best-of-fives they’ve won, dating back to that qualifier.
DRX began their run to the Worlds finals in Mexico City and will be the only team to participate in all four legs of the tournament.
After advancing through the group stage and quarterfinals in New York earlier this month, and winning their semifinal match in Atlanta earlier today, the stage is set for DRX to take on T1 in the grand finals in San Francisco, California next week.
The play-in stage was introduced to Worlds in 2017. Prior to today, the furthest a play-in team had gotten at the tournament was the semifinal round, when G2 Esports went from the play-ins to the top four at Worlds 2018. The franchise would reach the Worlds finals the following year but would do so as the top seed out of the LEC.
Coming into today’s best-of-five against Gen.G, DRX were looked at as massive underdogs. The team had not won a single game against Gen.G all season, losing all eight of their previous games against the LCK summer champions 메이저놀이터
DRX dropped the first game of today’s series, indicating maybe they’d yet to figure out Gen.G, but they roared back for three straight wins to clinch the victory.
Next week, DRX will face another familiar foe in T1. This season, T1 also thoroughly dominated DRX, winning all eight of their meetings against them, just as Gen.G had.
The 2022 Worlds finals will take place on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7pm CT. DRX and T1 will face off in the first LCK-vs-LCK grand final since 2017.
Riot reportedly fixes major bug that was banning hundreds of League of Legends players
Hearthsteel, formerly known as Goliath’s Ascendancy, is already one of the most controversial items in League of Legends despite not even officially being in the game yet. After breaking the game and giving users 3.7 quintillion 메이저사이트 health on the PBE, it also apparently permanently banned hundreds of players who used it. But now, Riot Games has reportedly fixed the issue causing the bans and is looking to unban everyone affected.
According to League content creator and streamer, RossBoomsocks—who was one of the first victims of the bans—Riot fixed the issue. The issue, however, was apparently not down to the item and instead was thanks to a spell 안전놀이터추천
Unfortunately, Riot has yet to reveal any 토토사이트 details regarding which spell was triggering its anti-cheat system and mass banning players. So, all previous conceptions that Heartsteel, third-party apps, VALORANT, or Riot’s anti-cheat Vanguard, were incorrect.
Since this is far from a definition of a 토토사이트추천 minor bug, Riot’s anti-cheat team were involved and they are currently working towards unbanning all players that were unfairly banned. This means if you haven’t been unbanned by now, you’ll probably be in the next couple of days.
All leaked reworked Rell abilities in League of Legends
Rell, the Iron Maiden, is a support champion in League of Legends that was released on Dec. 10, 2020. Designed as a durable engage champion packed with CC that steals enemies’ magic resist and armor, Rell was a dominant pick in pro play for months despite Riot’s repeated nerfs.
After several months of getting nerfed, though, Rell completely disappeared from pro play. Since she was heavily nerfed over the 메이저토토사이트 course of several months, her Solo queue win rate plummeted too, leaving the champion in an almost unplayable state.
For almost a year, there was no sign of her getting some love soon–until a couple of days ago when a Redditor posted a detailed post on Rell mains 메이저토토 subreddit showcasing a list of spells that will be potentially featured in Rell’s mid-scope rework.
So, here’s a first look at how Rell’s reworked abilities might look.
All of Rell’s reworked abilities in League of Legends
Rell is an engage support that’s best paired with short-range AD carries that like close combat and outplaying their enemies with their wits. So nautrally, Rell likes Kai’Sa, Draven, Lucian, and Nilah since they thrive in the eye of a teamfight and easily help Rell stun multiple targets with her Attract and Repel. And since Riot loves to keep the champions’ identity when reworking them, Rell’s kit will still look similar but with several tweaks that won’t lead to a dominant and repeated performance in pro play.
The most notable changes are her new E and R spells, which have been moved around and tweaked so that the kit doesn’t feel clunky and so that she’s more durable in teamfights instead of dying immediately after engaging.
Passive – Break the Mold
Rell’s reportedly new passive will essentially function as the old passive, only without extremely slow auto attacks. This means Rell will steal a portion of enemies armor and magic resist each time she auto attacks them. The exciting part of Rell’s new passive is that she will now do additional damage equal to total armor and magic damage stolen. Once Rell attacks an enemy champion, she refreshes the stolen armor and magic resist on all affected enemies.
Q – Shattering Strike
Rell’s Q, Shattering Strike, will basically stay the same spell. Rell will thrust her lance, destroy all shields, and do additional magic damage however, the first unit hit will suffer Break the Mold’s defense steal. On top of all of that, if Rell breaks a target’s shield, they will be slowed when moving away from Rell.
W – Ferromancer’s Vow
While Break the Mold and Shattering Strike were only tweaked, Rell’s Ferromancer’s Vow will look nothing like its previous version. Once Rell activates her Ferromancer’s Vow, she’ll become unstoppable for two seconds and will get movement speed when moving toward allies. After two seconds, both Rell and her nearest ally will get a shield rapidly declining over two seconds.
E – Magnetic Overload
Riot is reportedly changing her E ability entirely by making her previous Ultimate spell her E ability. Functioning as the current Ultimate, with Magnetic Overload, Rell will explode in magnetic furry, pulling all enemies toward herself and dealing damage. After three seconds, Rell stuns all enemies caught inside Magentic Overload and does damage to them.
R – Ferromancy-Crash Down
Similar to the original first part of W, Rell’s ultimate will have several important points you’ll have to bear in mind when playing her. First, she will have a passive spell called Mounted that gives her a bonus 15 percent of movement speed that’s doubled when moving towards an ally champion. The active part of the spell is called Active-Ferromancy-Crash Down, and it allows Rell to leap down from her mount, knock up enemies and deal damage in the area. Then, Rell enters the dismounted form, and she gets a shield, but her movement is decreased. On top of that, she can still use Ferromancy-Rising Shrapnel 메이저사이트
The second part of her new ultimate passive is 메이저놀이터 tied to Rell being dismounted. Once dismounted, she and her nearby ally will get bonus armor, and magic resist. And finally, with Ferromancy-Rising Shrapnel, Rell will unleash a pillar of shrapnel in front of her that flings enemies over her head and does damage to them. Then, Rell once again enters her mounted form, gets 20 percent movement speed, and can use Ferromancy-Crash Down once again.

Danny missed the entirety of the Evil Geniuses’ run at the 2022 League World Championship, citing a need to “focus on mental health.”
In his stead, substitute ADC Muhammed 토토사이트 Hasan “Kaori” Şentürk took up the mantle in the bot lane, playing in both the LCS Summer Split lower bracket finals domestically and all 16 of EG’s individual games at Worlds on the international stage.
Although Evil Geniuses advanced from the play-in stage at 토토사이트추천 Worlds following a series of tiebreakers and a best-of-five series over MAD Lions, the team faltered immensely in the group stage, finishing with a record of 1-5 at the main event.
The trip to Worlds 2022 marked the first time EG had attended the League World Championship in franchise history 메이저놀이터
The last match Danny played in on the professional stage came in the LCS Summer Playoffs against Team Liquid. The 18-year-old helped carry EG to victory in the five-game series before taking the rest of the year off for personal reasons. It was 메이저사이트 that series that qualified EG for Worlds.
EG has not made any of its plans for the ADC position going into the 2023 LCS season public at this time. Dot Esports has reached out to the NA org for comment.
