Senior Credits and Graduation
From the Counseling Staff
Dear Parents/Guardians of Seniors:
As we near the end of the year, we remind you that your student must complete all of their classes and also complete their Senior Notebook (due date is May 1) in order to participate in the graduation ceremony on June 4. As part of the Senior Notebook, we also remind you that the three state essential skills (reading, writing, and math) must be completed as well. If students fall short of the requirements, they will not participate in the graduation ceremony.
Many seniors are fulfilling graduation requirements by taking online classes. The deadline for completion of all online coursework is Monday, May 30 at midnight. This allows time for teachers to grade your online work. Senior finals are May 23-27.
All other class work in your regular classes is due by Friday, May 27. Students who do not graduate are encouraged to enroll in Summer School to complete missing requirements.
If you have any questions please call 503-630-8515 ext. 2800.
We look forward to celebrating with you and your graduate on June 4!
