Missions in Math

Soaring in Social Studies
Social studies is off to a fresh start. We are learning the WHY's and WAY'S people can improve their communities. Classes will study four important Americans and learn how they made huge improvements for their communities. We began with a study of Rosa Parks!!
WRITING that is Worthwhile
Our Maidens and Lords worked very hard organizing a MEL-CON this week. This type of writing is very detailed and requires the students to read two nonfiction articles and search for evidence that supports a given purpose question. This week students were presented with 2 stories and had 45 minutes to read the documents and write a MEL-CON all on their own!
