Roll Call
President Stephanie Clark, Vice President Kurt Buchholz, Secretary Jason Loebach, Robert Bruno, Linda D’Ambrosio, Erica Nelson. Bruce Currie was absent.
Introduction of New Staff | watch
Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Marci Conlin introduced all of the new staff and they were welcomed to the District by Superintendent Gordon and the Board members.
Superintendent Report | watch
Construction Update - Mr. Jack Hayes from FQC provided an update about the current construction projects. He also talked about the timeline moving forward. He explained that a lot of visible work will be taking place at Hadley over the next 60 days. He also answered specific questions from Board members.
Start with Hello - Dr. Gordon shared that we are participating in the Sandy Hook Promise “Start with Hello” campaign. We launched the campaign on the first day of school and it will be a theme throughout the school year.
Transportation Update - Busing through First Student transportation has been going well. There are some concerns with the service being provided by the Hopewell bus company. Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations Eric DePorter reported on the concerns and a meeting that occured with Hopewell to address the issues moving forward.
