Union Adult Learning Center

October 2020

Second Quarter Begins

As we move into our second quarter, we have enrolled new students for both programs. ESL classes enrolled on October 5th and HSE/GED classes enrolled on October 12th. Over 200 students enrolled virtually. Our next enrollment will occur in January. More details and dates will be posted as they become available.

Classes will continue virtually. We will re-evaluate consistently and inform students as soon as a decision has been made to return to face to face classes.

Virtual learning is a challenge for even the most ambitious student. Our teachers are working hard to support our students during these changing times. Below, you will find a link with tips on being a successful online student. Click the Tips for Being a Successful Online Student to read the article.

Below you will find information on their TulsaWORKS Career Academy. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to receive training and credentials to give them an edge in the job market. We will have Zoom calls explaining all of their programming. Students must register for any of those calls. Links can be found below.

LinkedIn will also send you emails about open positions you may be interest in to help you connect to the right career or employer for you.
