Meet Our New AP- Heather Johnson
Dear Brill Family,
I am so excited to be a part of the Brill Bronco family as your new assistant principal. It is such an honor to be given this wonderful opportunity to be part of such a amazing school and community. To tell you a little about myself, my name is Heather Johnson. I grew up in the Houston area and attended school in Aldine ISD growing up. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and earned my masters degree from Lamar University. This will be my 18th year in education and my 12th year in Klein ISD. I began my career in Spring ISD where I taught for six years before coming to Klein. In Klein, I have taught 2nd and 4th grades at Krahn Elementary and most recently I taught special education for K-5 at Mahaffey Elementary. Personally I have three boys ages 19, 14 and 12. They keep me very busy with baseball and trips to Aggieland. Outside of school, I spend most of my time at the baseball fields cheering on my son’s team.
I have a true passion for kids and helping others. I want to see everyone, children and adults, succeed and it is my goal to help others know their value and importance. I get a lot of my energy from being around children so I can’t wait to see their sweet faces on Zoom meetings and on campus. Please know that I would love to meet and visit with you so feel free to give me a call or say “Hi” once we are back on campus. Although the year isn’t starting out the way we had hoped, I have no doubt that it’s going to be a wonderful year. Have a wonderful rest of your summer.
