WHY IS IRON IMPORTANT?
Iron helps to transport oxygen throughout your body. I'ts actually an important component to hemoglobin, which is the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen from your to the rest of your body.
WHAT IF I DONT GET ENOUGH IRON?
A lack of iron can cause extreme symptoms such as short breaths, fast heart beats, cold hands and feet, hair loss, sore tongue, and difficulty swallowing foods and liquids. Also, not having the correct amount of iron can cause Anemia which means that you have a deficiency of red blood cells.

what if you have too much iron?
Some nutrition aren't dangerous if you take too much, but iron can be deadly if overdosed. Children have died from iron supplements because their needs of iron are low compared to those of an adult. Some signs of iron poisoning are severe vomiting, abdominal pains, and dehydration.
