Spelling: Tests now on THURSDAYS
We have moved the weekly spelling test to Thursdays instead of Fridays. We believe that scholars will have ample study time, and this will allow us to dedicate more time to writing on Fridays.
Please help remind your scholars to be practicing on Spelling City and that WEDNESDAY is now their last night to study!
Homework Update: Sentence Combining
Homework has changed a few times over the course of the year. We started with cursive and then transitioned into grammar. In order to get our scholars prepared for their approaching STAAR test, we have switched to sentence combining homework.
This will assess scholars on how well they can correctly combine sentences and if they can identify why the incorrect answers are not correct.
This will still be due every FRIDAY along with their Math homework.
