Collected and Wiped
This means the iPad has been collected from the student's profile in TIPWeb and wiped either through JAMF or iTunes.
Cracked Screen
This means the iPad has a cracked screen and needs evaluation before it is sent off for repairs.
Defective iPad or Case
This means the iPad or keyboard has a defect that is not a cracked screen.
Incorrect Way to Label Returning iPads
Below are examples of how not to label the returning iPads.
There should only be one label on each returning iPad. Please click on each picture below to enlarge them.
Example #1
If a student W/D from the district, you should use a yellow Collected and Wiped sticker to return the device.
Example #2
If a student is issued a duplicate device, please verify that the student has the device issued to them in TIPWeb and use a yellow Collected and Wiped sticker to return the duplicate device.
Example #3
Please only use a yellow sticker. If you would like to put a note saying the student W/D, please use a sticky note or write on the yellow sticker "W/D".
Example #4
Do not put a yellow sticker on the iPad if the device is not wiped. If you did not have the chance to wipe it because the techs came to pick it up that day, please do not put a sticker on it so we know it needs wiping here.
Example #5
Please only use the green Cracked Screen sticker for cracked devices and make sure the label is placed on the front of the iPad.
Example #6
Please place the stickers on the front of the iPad.
