Greetings, BHS Families, this is Week #7 of Semester 2. Thank you to those families who participated in Parent Teacher Conferences last week! Because of the limited schedule, we understand that not everyone was able to attend. PLEASE REMEMBER that you can reach out to your student’s teachers ANY TIME via email to ask questions or to schedule a phone or virtual meeting together with your student.

Giving to BHS - Now taking DONATIONS:
Please consider supporting our school in any of the areas below:
Academic Excellence, Student Improvement, Student Care Packages, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, General Needs, and the Amazon Wishlist. These are areas that school funding doesn't cover, but we know the value and impact they add to maintaining a positive and productive environment! CLICK HERE for the links to donate.
BHS Partners with Belleville Public Library:
It has been truly beneficial to have the Belleville Public Library so close as they offer library services to our students! However, please be aware that there are general regulations and terms of service in order to provide access. CLICK HERE for the letter that was sent through the district last week.
Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth Survey (MiPHY)
Our school will be taking part in the Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth Survey supported by the Michigan Department of Education. A copy of the survey is available for parents to review upon request at BHS. A fact sheet regarding the survey is available through the following link: MiPHY Fact Sheet Prior to the administration of the survey a parent/guardian notice will be sent out that will include an opt-out form if needed.

FAFSA
Seniors, it’s not too late to complete the FAFSA. Although the priority deadline has passed, you can still complete the FAFSA!
Completing the FAFSA is the best first step to funding any post-high school education plan. It’s a no-cost way to discover what sources of funding might be available to assist anyone in furthering their postsecondary education. It can connect a student to federal Pell Grant — free money for college that doesn’t need to be paid back — as well as scholarships, loans and work-study programs. Completing the FAFSA can reveal a funding pathway for students — including those who may have assumed education wasn’t affordable. Please see the college adviser or a counselor for assistance and more information!
